Learn German online ! Why?
Learn German online can be tricky and is not easy if you dont have the correct tools or methods.
I don’t want to start this blog in the old-fashioned boring way and share with you statistics about how important the German language is economically and in our daily life. I think you guys can google statistics on your own: D
My goal is to be genuine and help you guys learn German online fast because it is today possible with the numerous choices of websites and language apps.
Sitting in my office in 2018 back in my home country Tunisia, I was so fed up because back then I was working as a customer support specialist, and I had only to take care of 1 to two tickets per working shift, that’s why I started to think deeper about my future, whether I want to do this longer or just start something else, but what exactly??
After hours of just surfing online and brainstorming, I remembered that my mother gave me a German grammar book from the 70s, so I grabbed it, which was covered with dust and smelled a bit weird, and I started to look at those Black and white pictures from the Golden Era.
“Das ist mein Auto”, “Der rechte Hand”.
I still can remember the first sentences that I read in German (I can’t remember If I read them correctly or not though: D). However, I had the impression that the German language is pretty much like English (At least from my mom’s 70s A1 German grammar book) and that was my trigger to think about starting to learn the language, which led to the idea, that I could do my master’s degree in Germany, which I did successfully in the University of Applied Sciences of Wedel in Schleswig Holstein.

Speaking fluent German was not an easy Journey, to be frank with you guys and I started like everyone by joining a language school, in which I was struggling to learn many grammar structures and rules till I stumbled upon the idea to download apps and use them in my spare time like commuting to enlarge my German vocabulary. I remember that I used many apps and websites namely the German courses offered by the DW (I don’t know if you guys have watched already Nico’s Weg). Still, most of them were good only at the beginning and not too different from the casual language courses, which I did. Then I started reading reviews in Quora to just have an idea what are the best language apps out there because I was frustrated and not happy about learning German online at that time.
“Babbel helped me achieve B2 in 4 Months and with 4 Hours a week”.
One of Babbel’s users wrote that comment and he had the same frustration before trying to speak German online, so I decided to download the App and try my luck there.
Why is this Tool different? Is this real? Or am I just doing this to waste your time and make some money? To be honest with you, there are cheaper solutions online, but they do not offer the same level of learning German online.
